Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Lake Wales will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. or shortly thereafter at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 W. Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida, in the Commission Chambers, to consider the following requests: 1) Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment to assign 24+/- acres of land a Future Land Use designation of IND Industrial and a Zoning Map Amendment to assign 24+/- acres of land a Zoning designation of I-1 Industrial Park Parcel ID: 273013000000041020, 273013000000041010 04401 HUNT-BROTHERS - 2) 10 1st Street S Request for approval of a Special Exception Use Permit to allow Outdoor Display and Sales Parcel ID: 273002907000001321 001040 001020 001010 30 35 Lake Wales 001290 001321 001322 1ST ST S All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed amendments. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
