NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT ORDINANCE NO. 2025-24 CITY OF MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Mount Dora, Florida proposes to enact Ordinance No. 2025-24. The final public hearing on the ordinance will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible at City Hall, 510 North Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida. The title and substance of Ordinance No. 2025-24 is as follows: ORDINANCE NO: 2025-24 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION CHANGE FROM COUNTY COMMUNITY FACILITY DISTRICT (CFD) TO CITY PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS (PLI) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE ROAD 46 AND WEST OF ROUND LAKE ROAD, COMPRISING 26.68 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND INTENT; PROVIDING FOR ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION CHANGE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENT; PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR NON-CODIFICATION AND SCRIVENERS ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. This public hearing may be continued to a future date or dates. The times, places, and dates of any continuances of a public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing without any further published notice. The file may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Development Department, City Hall, 510 N. Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Notice: If any person decides to appeal any decisions made at this meeting with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such person may need a record of these proceedings. For such purpose, a person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
