REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
CITY OF DAVENPORT STORMWATER VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT
RFQ 2026-01
The City of Davenport, Florida, an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer, does hereby announce that it is accepting written Qualifications from all qualified firms or individuals interested in providing engineering and construction services as described in the "Scope of Services" section of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document: City of Davenport's Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment 2026-01. The pre-qualified consulting engineering firm (hereinafter Consultants) shall provide professional services to prepare preliminary and final report documents and other related services to implement a Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment for City of Davenport.
If you are interested in preparing a response to this RFQ document, please complete all the requirements set forth in this RFQ document in the manner prescribed. Please note that your response is a binding offer to perform in the manner you describe in the Qualifications response for a period not to exceed Ninety (90) days from the Qualifications due date and time. Also please be aware that under the competitive Qualifications process, the stipulations set forth herein are fully binding on you, the proposer, to the extent that you confirm acceptance by your signature on the Acceptance of Conditions page.
Questions regarding this solicitation must be received by email to mstripling@mydavenport.org no later than Friday, February 20, 2026. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation shall be distributed via formal Addendum and posted to the City website.
All Qualification Packages must be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with "CITY OF DAVENPORT Stormwater Vulnerability Assessment 2026-01". Qualification Packages shall be submitted together with any and all supporting documentation enclosed. Qualification Packages will be received at Davenport City Hall located at 1 South Allapaha Avenue, Davenport, FL 33837 ATTENTION: Rachel Castillo until 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Submittals may be either mailed or hand delivered prior to the above deadline. Postmarks will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the bidder to assure that bids are received at City Hall no later than the specified time and date. Submittals received after this date and time will not be accepted or considered.
All proposers are advised that under chapter 119, Florida Statutes, all responses are deemed a public record and opened to public scrutiny as provided for in said statute.
The City of Davenport welcomes your response to this RFQ document. The City of Davenport reserves the right to reject any Qualifications found to be non-responsive, vague, non-conforming, or irresponsible. The City of Davenport may withdraw all or part of this Request for Qualifications at any time to protect its best interest. The desire of the City of Davenport to pursue Qualifications shall in no way obligate the City to compensate you for your efforts or to execute a contract with you. All proposers are asked to be thorough yet concise in their response. Failure to provide the response in the manner prescribed herein may be grounds for disqualification.
