PUBLIC NOTICE
PROPOSED ORDINANCE
The town of Otter Creek will hold two public hearings at 7:00 PM on Tuesday January 20, 2026 and on February 17, 2026 at the Town Hall, 555 SW 2nd Avenue, Otter Creek, to consider the following proposed ordinance:
Ordinance 2026-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OTTER CREEK, FLORIDA SUBMITTING ITEMS TO ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF OTTER CREEK DURING A REFERENDUM TO BE HELD IN APRIL OF 2026 AMENDING THE CHARTER OF OTTER CREEK AS IT RELATES TO COUNCIL SEATS AND ELECTIONS; REPEALING PRIOR CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Interested parties may appear at the public hearings and be heard regarding their opinions of the proposed changes, copies of which are available from the town clerk during normal business hours, Tuesday, Wednesday, from 8:00 AM to Noon.
Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at this hearing will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
