It is preferred for all bids to be submitted electronicallythrough Demandstar (www.demandstar.com). However, paper sealed bidproposals are still accepted. A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM (EST), February 4, 2026at 1310, San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL 34145. GENERAL DESCRIPTION PLEASE REFER TO PROJECT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONSFOR DETAILED REQUIREMENTS The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentalsnecessary for the construction of traffic signal control and pedestrian safetyimprovements at multiple signalized intersections within the City of Marco Island. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, replacement and upgrade of existingtraffic signal controllers, installation of modernized signal cabinets, vehicle detection,emergency vehicle preemption, coordinated signal system implementation, andpedestrian safety improvements, including timing adjustment and blank-out signage atdesignated intersections.
