INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids will be received from pre-qualified General and Mechanical Contractors by The Santa Rosa
County School Board, at the Office of the Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, 6544
Firehouse Road, Upstairs Conference Room (Maintenance Building) (850) 983-5123, Milton, Florida, until 2:00 PM, Local Time, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the construction of BAGDAD ELEMENTARY BLDG. 7: CLASSROOM ENERGY UPGRADES for The School Board of Santa Rosa County, Florida. Any bids received after closing will be returned unopened.
All contractors for educational facilities are hereby notified that to be eligible to bid on school projects, they must be pre-qualified. Contact the Board at the above address for information on pre-qualifying.

Bids shall be submitted on the form supplied by the Architect. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a written contract with the Owner and furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond satisfactory to the Owner.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Bagdad Elementary School. Check-in at the front office of the school. The purpose of this meeting is to allow all bidders access to the site in order that they may familiarize themselves with all existing conditions that relate to the project.
The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bidding and reject any and all bids.
