Public hearing on ordinance amending land development regulations in Dunnellon.

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE #ORD2025-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUNNELLON, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF DUNNELLON LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, APPENDIX A - ZONING, ARTICLE IX, TO ADOPT NEW SECTION 9.4 ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES AND A PROCESS FOR REQUESTING REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS FROM LOCAL LAND USE REGULATIONS AS MANDATED BY FLORIDA STATUTE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The City of Dunnellon Council will hold a Public Hearing regarding Ordinance #ORD2025-13, amending Chapter 9 of the Dunnellon Land Development Regulations. The public hearing will be held at Dunnellon City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, FL 34431, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Comment may be made orally or submitted in writing. If necessary, this public hearing may be continued to a time and date certain by announcement at the scheduled hearing without any further written notice. The proposed ordinance and back-up materials may be reviewed during normal business hours between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday at Dunnellon City Hall.
