INVITATION FOR BID The City of Orlando, (City) Florida, will receive bids electronically through OpenGov for IFB26-0141 Water Conserv II WRF Equalization Pump Station Improvements, on, March 10, 2026, at, 2:00 p.m. Local Time, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read. Instructions on electronic submittal are in the bid package. This Contract is for improvements to the Water Conserv II WRF Equalization (EQ) Pump Station. specifically, the following work is included, but not limited to: replace existing EQ pumps with dry pit submersible pumps; modify yard piping for temporary bypass operation and provide temporary bypass system; perform and maintain temporary bypass of the EQ pump station; replace existing suction and discharge isolation valves and check valves (excluding valves replaced in the last five years, as indicated on drawings); replace suction and discharge pipe fittings and modify discharge manifold to accommodate the new pumps orientation; construct a new electrical building with HVAC; upgrade existing HVAC in EQ pump station; electrical, instrumentation and controls improvements for the components being modified; demolition and/or removal of existing items and systems that will be removed from service. Plans, Specifications & Contract Documents will be open to public inspection on February 9, 2026. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder to contact the Procurement and Contracts Division or visit https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/orlando prior to submitting a bid to ascertain if any addenda have been issued, to obtain all such addenda, and acknowledge executed addenda in OpenGov. Bidders must be appropriately licensed Florida Contractors pursuant to Chapter 489 Florida Statutes to be considered responsible bidders and eligible to be awarded a contract. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all Bids, or to re-advertise for Bids.
