COLUMBIA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PROJECT NUMBER 2026-01 2025-2026 Annual Resurfacing - D4 SW Bedenbaugh Ln, SW Wendy Ter, SE Alfred Markham St, and CR 245 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received in the Columbia County Manager's office until 2:00 P.M. on February 26, 2026 for Columbia County Project No. 2026-01. This office is located on the second floor of the Courthouse Annex at 135 Hernando Avenue, Room 203 Lake City FL 32055. SE Alfred Markham St - an existing 18' wide pavement section (2-9' travel lanes), constructing 16" trench on both sides of existing roadway section, placement of limerock base, (8" in trench and 2- 4" on existing pavement) then mixing in place, and placement of new asphalt pavement in two courses - 137.5 lbs/sy - 20' in width. This roadway length is approximately 2800 LF or 0.52 miles. Milling existing pavement of approximately 13,830 LF of 20' wide roadways, finishing the milled surface, and placement of new asphalt pavement in a single course 1) structural - 165 lbs/sy. Scope of work includes milling, levelling, reworking and finishing milled surface, limerock placement, mixing in place, finishing mixed base, grading, asphaltic concrete pavement, erosion control, grassing, painted pavement markings, stormwater pipe, and incidental items. Deadline for questions regarding construction plans, specifications, and/or bid documents must be received before 2:00 P.M. on February 20, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the County Manager with a 5% bid bond with submittal, and if selected, furnish the County Manager with a performance bond and proof of liability insurance prior to commencing work.
