ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for constructing the Lead Service Line Inventory, Bid No. 2026-14 for the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator, City Hall, Ormond Beach, Florida, until March 10, 2026 at 2:00pm, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Training Room located in the breezeway between City Hall and the Public Library. Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.
The work consists of: Development of the Lead Service Line Inventory under the Safe Drinking Water Act, at Title 40 Part 141.80, that require all community and non-transient, non-community public water systems to prepare and maintain an inventory of potable water service line materials, the Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI), for the purpose of identifying any lead service lines (LSLs)within the system. To maintain compliance with EPA requirements for the City's Lead Service Line Inventory, the Contractor will conduct field inspections on two-points of every unknown service line, and update and submit a completed inventory spreadsheet with photos, as specified in the project manual. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual. A pre-bid conference to discuss the details and requirements of the contract will be held on February 19, 2026 at 2:00pm, in the Training Room at City Hall. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The deadline for submitting questions is February 26, 2026 at 5:00pm.
